In this page you will find all major events (Regional-level or above) of the official Play! Pokémon program, as well as all events hosted by Victory Road, for the 2027 season, which begins with local and major events in September 2026.
The season will start using Pokémon Champions, with different regulations depending on their event dates. You will also find whether events will be played with open team sheets (OTS) or closed team sheets (CTS). You can read all rules & regulations that apply to official Pokémon Champions VGC events on this page.
Sign-ups for all official events are handled online, and require to pay the entry fee online at the moment of sign-up. They may sell out quickly, especially for the select tournaments that are free to enter! To stay tuned and receive alerts for your favourite events, follow Victory Road on X.

National Championships (called Japan Championships in Japan, Trainers Cup in South Korea, and Master Ball Leagues in the rest of Asia-Pacific) are the way players in TPC and PKI regions qualify to the World Championships and earn Travel Awards, since there is no Championship Point structure here.

Regional Championships and Special Championships (SC) are the main events through which players can earn the coveted Championship Points (CP) in their way to the World Championships in TPCi regions! These lists may be updated with new announcements.
In Asia-Pacific, Premier Ball Leagues (PBLs) are held in the first half of the season. The top players get the first direct invitations to the World Championships!
