2027 World Championships invitees

* Players earning an invite through their results in a World, International, Regional, or Special Championship, will not count against the total invitation slots for their rating zone’s CP leaderboards.

For players in Europe, North America, Latin America and Oceania, the top players in the CP leaderboard at the end of the season are awarded Travel Awards or Stipends to the World Championships. Players in Middle East & South Africa and Russia regions are ineligible.

Three tiers of invites are defined in relation to Travel Awards and Stipends:

• Travel Award: players receive a Travel Award prior to the event, and are fully responsible for booking their own travel and lodging:
  • Travelling in region: $2,000 (over 18) or $2,500 (under 18 years of age)
  • Travelling out of region: $3,500 (over 18) or $5,000 (under 18 years of age)
• Travel Stipend: players receive a $1,000 Travel Stipend after the event, subject to the players attending and playing at least one round of the main event.

The travel awards and stipends are in US dollars (USD) and subject to applicable tax withholding.

For players in Japan, Travel Awards are awarded to the top players at the Pokémon Japan Championships (PJCS).

For players in South Korea, Travel Awards are different depending on the players’ final placement at the Pokémon Trainers Cup (PTC) Finals. Details will be known at a later time.

For players in the Asia-Pacific regions, Travel Awards consist on flight and accommodation for the World Championships being paid for by TPC, and are awarded to the top players of the different Master Ball Leagues.

For players in India, Travel Awards are different depending on the players’ final placement at the Pokémon Champions India Series Grand Finals. Details will be known at a later time.
