Overview
The Thailand Premier Ball LeagueĀ is an official TPC Regional-level event for players in Thailand, where TPC is responsible for the circuit since 2020. The Premier Ball League had last been held in the 2025 season, as the circuit abandoned it for the 2026 season.
It is the only Regional-level tournament in the 2027 seasonĀ in the Thai circuit before the Master Ball League at the end of the season.
The ruleset is VGC Regulation Set M-C, and it is played using open team lists.
The timer rules are modified in this tournament: it’s 15 minutes overall for each game.
A little bit of history
Thailand has been one of the regions hosting an the official TPC circuit since June 2020, and it was part of the Oceania region of the official TPCI circuit before that. Since the TPC takeover, it has taken part in Asia online tournaments, such as the Asia Players Cup, and has hosted National Championships since 2022. Thailand’s greatest VGC success is in the hands of 2-time National ChampionĀ Chaiyawat Traiwichcha. Additionally, Thai players have proven themselves as a major team force and they achieved victory at theĀ 2022 World Cup of PokĆ©mon VGC.
The most recent tournament held in Thailand was theĀ 2026 Thailand Master Ball League, also hosted in Bangkok, played with the VGC Regulation Set M-A in May 2026. The finals saw 2025 Thailand MBL semifinalist Jittarin Rojmahamongkol defeat fellow Thai player Phatthrawat WichiendilokĀ to win his first National title!
As for Regional-level events, the last one held in Thailand was the 2025 Thailand Premier Ball League, hosted in Nonthaburi and played in PokĆ©mon Scarlet and VioletĀ with the Regulation Set H in October 2024. The finals saw 2-time Thailand Championships semifinalist Jong Dae-Jung defeat 2023 Thailand Championships quarterfinalist Noppasorn Tangkasem to win his first major title! Dae-Jung would go on to also win the Master Ball League later that season.
