Sign-up instructions
This tournament is open only to residents of Thailand. All age divisions play together in this tournament.
Pre-registration is open from 12 March at 10 am local time (03:00 UTC) until 23 April at 12 pm local time (05:00 UTC). There are 128 spots; if the number of pre-registrations exceed capacity, a lottery determines who can attend.
The registration confirmation will be notified to the players on 24 April at 5 pm local time (10:00 UTC).
For registered players, the support ID and trainer name must be submitted 5 days before the event starts, by 11 May at 12 pm local time (05:00 UTC).

Check-in can be done early on Saturday 16 May from 11 am to 12 pm local time.
Players must be in the venue by 16 May at 12 pm local time (05:00 UTC) for the players meeting. The tournament starts thereafter, at 12:30 pm local time.
Players qualified to Top 16 must be in the venue by 17 May at 11 am local time (04:00 UTC). The top cut rounds start at 11:30 am local time.

This event is part of the 2026 official TPC circuit in Thailand.
Participating players will play for invites to the 2026 World Championships, with the highest-placed players earning Travel Awards.

The Thailand Master Ball League is the most important VGC competition for players in Thailand, where TPC is responsible for the circuit since 2020.
The Master Ball League is the name National Championships take in several territories of Asia. In Thailand, it was named the Thailand Championships from 2022 to 2024:

The ruleset is Regulation Set M-A, and it is played with open team lists.
A little bit of history
Thailand has been one of the regions hosting an the official TPC circuit since June 2020, and it was part of the Oceania region of the official TPCI circuit before that. Since the TPC takeover, it has taken part in Asia online tournaments, such as the Asia Players Cup, and has hosted National Championships since 2022. Thailand’s greatest VGC success is in the hands of 2-time National Champion Chaiyawat Traiwichcha. Additionally, Thai players have proven themselves as a major team force and they achieved victory at the 2022 World Cup of Pokémon VGC.
The most recent tournament held in Thailand was the 2025 Thailand Master Ball League, also hosted in Bangkok, played in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet with the VGC Regulation Set I in May 2025. The finals saw 2025 Thailand PBL Champion Jong Dae-Jung defeat 2024 Thailand Championships semifinalist Nattanon Wongwiwatchai to win his first National title!
