Check-in can be done in advance on Friday 25 April from 16:00 to 19:00 CEST, or early on Saturday 26 April.
Players must be in the venue by 26 April at 08:30 CESTĀ (06:30 UTC) for the players meeting. The tournament starts thereafter with the Day 1 Swiss rounds. Seniors and Juniors start 30 minutes later.
Players qualified to Day 2 must be in the venue byĀ 27 April at 08:30 CESTĀ (06:30 UTC) for the team checks. The Day 2 Swiss rounds and the top cut will be played thereafter.

Overview
The Seville Special ChampionshipsĀ is an official TPCi Regional-level event for PokĆ©mon VGC, TCG and PokĆ©mon GO.Ā It is the first Special and seventh Regional-level event of theĀ 2025 seasonĀ in the European circuit.
The ruleset isĀ VGC Regulation Set G, and it is played using open team lists. It is the last major event in Europe to feature this ruleset.
A little bit of history
Spain has been part of the Europe region of the official TPCi circuit for many years. It has hosted multiple major events, including Special Events, Regional Championships and old-era National Championships. Spain’s greatest VGC success areĀ Guillermo Castilla‘s second place at the 2022 World Championships, as well as the International Championship titles won by Miguel MartĆ, Eric Rios and Ćlex GĆ³mez.
The most recent tournament held in SpainĀ is theĀ 2024 Barcelona Special Event, played with the VGC Regulation Set D in September 2023. TheĀ finalsĀ saw 2022 World ChampionĀ Eduardo CunhaĀ defeat ItalianĀ Marco MarrasĀ to win his second Special title!
It is the first major VGC event ever held in the autonomous community of Andalusia!
Sign-up instructions
Sign-ups for the event are done throughĀ RK9 Labs platform, and you will first need to set up your RK9 profileĀ and have aĀ Play! PokĆ©mon Player ID.
Sign-ups are free, andĀ they open on 26 February at 19:00 CET (18:00 UTC). Unregistering from this tournament is possible in order to free spots if a player can no longer attend; however, there were no new waves of sign-ups after the initial date.
If the player cap is not reached, sign-ups close 2 hours before the event starts.
For registered players, team lists must be submitted 1 hour before the event starts, by 26 April at 07:30 CEST (05:30 UTC).
