This update includes the confirmation that Regulation Set I will be used as the official VGC format until 31 August 2025 and clarifies that Nintendo Switch 2 will not be allowed in official tournaments until further notice.
The new season of Ranked Battles has started! It uses Regulation Set I for the first time, and will be up until 31 May. 2023 Japan National Champion Kaito Arii got 1st in Season 29!
The ruleset allows the use of up to two Restricted Legendary Pokémon in a team. We’re back to a GS Cup format for the first time since 2022!
This TPCi-only online competition, held on 9–11 May, awards up to 170 Championship Points. It will use VGC Regulation Set I!
This event lasts until 8 May. Wiglett in Paldea, Growlithe in Kitakami & Swablu in the Blueberry Academy’s Terarium are more likely to be shiny!
