The ruleset is VGC Regulation Set H, and it is played using open team lists.
A little bit of history
Germany has been part of the Europe region of the official TPCi circuit for many years. Germany’s greatest VGC success happened when Michael Kelsch reached the finals of the 2023 World Championships.
The most recent tournament held in Germany was the 2025 Dortmund Regional, played with the Regulation Set H in September 2024. The finals saw 2016 Italy National semifinalist Davide Miraglia defeat 2023 Worlds quarterfinalist Mattie Morgan to win his first Regional title!
The last time there was an event in the state of Baden-Württemberg was the 2024 Stuttgart Regional, played in the VGC Regulation Set E in December 2023. The finals saw Italian Lorenzo Silvestrini defeat 2018 Worlds semifinalist Nils Dunlop to win his first Regional Championship title!
