Structure

This event marks the first-ever National Championships held in the Philippines. The Playoffs stage also constitutes the first-ever offline event held in the Philippines! Only players residing in the Philippines could play this tournament.

With a cap of 128 entries, players would enter the Qualifiers to face each other in up to 7 Swiss rounds with open teamsheets, in best-of-one matches, on 29 May 2022.

The top 8 players at the end of the day would qualify to the Playoffs, which would be held in a live event in Quezon City on 12 June 2022. The Playoffs would consist in a classic seeded single-elimination bracket, with best-of-three matches and using the same teams as in the Qualifiers.

The winner would receive a Day 2 invite to the 2022 World Championships, as well as a Travel Award, while the rest of the top 4 players would receive Day 1 invites.
