Roster Ranch
In Pokémon Champions, players do not catch Pokémon: they recruit them from Roster Ranch.
The Roster Ranch comprises a list of random Pokémon that can be recruited, fully trained and battle-ready in some way. This list can be renewed at no in-game cost every 22 hours, or earlier than that by using Quick Coupons (which reduce this wait by 1 hour per coupon) or VP.
There are two ways to recruit the Pokémon: the trial recruitment and the permanent recruitment. In any of these cases, Pokémon obtained from Roster Ranch cannot be sent to Pokémon HOME.
Trial Recruitment
The Trial Recruitment is the way to have a Pokémon join your team at no in-game cost, but during a limited time period of 7 days.
Pokémon recruited this way cannot be trained differently: they must be used in the way they appear in the Roster Ranch.
Permanent Recruitment
The Permanent Recruitment is the way to have a Pokémon join your team forever, but with an in-game cost: either a Teammate Ticket or a certain amount of VP.
Pokémon recruited this way can be trained.
