2-time Regional Champion Joseph Ugarte has won his record-breaking fifth VR tournament! Joseph defeated Taiwanese Li Yu-Chi in the finals of Victory Road’s latest Regulation Set I event, using a Groudon + Miraidon team!
TPCi events will use Regulation Set H from 1 September to 30 November!
This ruleset, last used 8 months ago, forbids the use of Paradox Pokémon and all Legendary Pokémon. It will be used in official TPCi events, most notably 2026 LAIC, separate from the Ranked Battles ruleset, which will be Regulation Set J.
Regulation Set J has been announced!
This ruleset allows the use of up to two Restricted or Mythical Legendary Pokémon in a team! It will be used in Ranked Battles from 1 September to 4 January, but not for the official VG circuit in TPCi regions.
The Play! Pokémon Access mobile app is now available in select regions!
A new mobile app, available for Android and iOS systems and focused on the TPCi circuit, has been announced and is already available in most regions! It will be available in the Americas on 4 August.
