A little bit of history
Hong Kong has been one of the regions on the official TPC circuit since June 2020, and it was part of the Oceania region of the official TPCi circuit before that. It has hosted multiple major events, including Regional Championships, Special Events, and both TPCi-era and current TPC-era National Championships. Hong Kong’s greatest VGC success was the top 16 achieved by Edward Cheung at the 2016 World Championships.
The most recent tournament held in Hong Kong was the 2025 Hong Kong Master Ball League, also played in Wan Chai with the VGC Regulation Set I in May–June 2025. The finals saw 2025 Hong Kong PBL Champion Felix Kwok defeat 2-time Regional finalist Wang Bingjie to win his first National title!
