Check-in can be done in advance on Friday 27 September from 16:15 to 19:30, or early on Saturday from 07:15.
Players must be in the venue by 28 SeptemberĀ at 08:30 BRTĀ (11:30 UTC) for the players meeting. The tournament starts thereafter with the Day 1 Swiss rounds. Seniors and Juniors start 30 minutes later.
Players qualified to Day 2 must be in the venue byĀ 29 September at 08:30 BRTĀ (11:30 UTC) for the team checks. The Day 2 Swiss rounds and the top cut will be played thereafter.
Prizes
This event is part of theĀ 2025 official TPCi circuitĀ and thus it rewards Championship Points (CPs).

Prize money will be paid through the digital wallet MOBOX in the case of Brazilian players (for minors, through their adult responsible’s MOBOX); foreigners must send an email to claim the prize money following the instructions of the organizer.
If prize money is $5000 or more, it will be given as a choice of scholarship (in all cases) or cash (for minors, as a PokĆ©mon VisaĀ® Prepaid Card). For lower prizes, it will be given as cash (for minors, as a PokĆ©mon VisaĀ® Prepaid Card).
Overview
The Joinville Regional ChampionshipsĀ is an official TPCi Regional-level event for PokĆ©mon VGC, TCG and PokĆ©mon GO.Ā It is the first Regional-level event of theĀ 2025 seasonĀ in the Latin American circuit.
The ruleset isĀ VGC Regulation Set H, and it is played using open team lists. It is the first Regulation Set H event in Latin America.
A little bit of history
BrazilĀ has been part of the Latin America region of the official TPCi circuit for many years. It has hosted multiple major events, including Special Events and all editions of the Latin America International Championships. Brazil’s greatest VGC successes are the top 16 finish at theĀ 2019 World ChampionshipsĀ and the 2 International Championship second places achieved byĀ Gabriel Agati, as well as another International Championship second place achieved byĀ Thiago Lattanzi.
The most recent tournament held in BrazilĀ was theĀ 2024 SĆ£o Paulo Regional, played in the VGC Regulation Set F in April 2024. TheĀ finalsĀ saw BrazilianĀ Cristhian AndradeĀ defeat 5-time Regional ChampionĀ Riley FacturaĀ to win his first Regional Championship title!
It is the first major VGC event ever held in the state of Santa Catarina!
Sign-up instructions
Sign-ups for the event are done throughĀ RK9 Labs platform, and you will first need to set up your RK9 profileĀ and have aĀ Play! PokĆ©mon Player ID.
Sign-ups are R$150 for Masters players and R$120 for Senior and Junior players, andĀ they open on 7 August at 19:00 BRT (22:00 UTC).
If the player cap is not reached, sign-ups close 2 hours before the event starts.
For registered players, team lists must be submitted 1 hour before the event starts, by 28 September at 07:30 BRT (10:30 UTC).
