Good performances:
- Iron Hands, Therian Forme Landorus and Flutter Mane dominated this event again! It seems the struggle for first place will be going on for a while!
- The highest conversion rate amongst the 10 most used PokĆ©mon was Rapid Strike Style UrshifuĀ (12%). The previous week, inĀ Sacramento, it was the same! If the trend continues, we should expect a rise in Urshifu!
- Other PokĆ©mon with high conversion rates were Heatran (12%)Ā andĀ Chien-PaoĀ (11%).
- KingambitĀ and Amoonguss made it to the top 12 in Day 2.
Bad performances:
- The lowest conversion rate amongst the 10 most used PokĆ©mon was Iron HandsĀ (7%), who even dropped from first place to third.

Check-in can be done early on Saturday from 07:30 CEST.
Players must be in the venue by 21 October at 08:30 CEST (06:30 UTC) for the players meeting. The tournament starts thereafter with the Day 1 Swiss rounds. Seniors and Juniors start 30 minutes later.
Players qualified to Day 2 must be in the venue by 22 October at 08:30 CEST (06:30 UTC) for the team checks. The Day 2 Swiss rounds (if any) and the top cut will be played thereafter.
Prizes
This event is part of theĀ 2024 official TPCi circuitĀ and thus it rewards Championship Points (CPs).
As a participation goodie, all players will be provided a PokƩmon Regional Championships promo card. Other goodies may be added at a later date.

If prize money is $5000 or more, it will be given as a choice of scholarship (in all cases) or cash (for minors, as a PokĆ©mon VisaĀ® Prepaid Card). For lower prizes, it will be given as cash (for minors, as a PokĆ©mon VisaĀ® Prepaid Card).
Overview
The Lille Regional ChampionshipsĀ is an official TPCi Regional for PokĆ©mon VGC, TCG and PokĆ©mon GO.Ā It is the first Regional and second Regional-level event of theĀ 2024 seasonĀ in the European circuit.
The ruleset isĀ VGC Regulation Set E, and it is played using open team lists. It is the first major event in Europe to use this ruleset!
A little bit of history
France has been part of the Europe region of the official TPCi circuit for many years. It has hosted multiple major events, including Special Events, Regional Championships and old-era National Championships.Ā France’s greatest VGC success isĀ Hippolyte Bernard‘s top 16 place at the 2022 World Championships, as well as the France National Championship titles won by Adrien BouletĀ (2010) and Lionel Fey (2011).
The most recent tournament held in FranceĀ is theĀ 2022 Lille Regional, played in PokĆ©mon Sword & PokĆ©mon Shield with the VGC Series 12 ruleset in May 2022. TheĀ finalsĀ saw FrenchmanĀ Thomas GravouilleĀ defeat ItalianĀ Giulio TarlaoĀ to win his first major title, after failing to do so two months earlier in theĀ Liverpool RegionalĀ finals.
AmericanĀ James Evans, theĀ 2018 Senior Division World Champion, defeated BrazilianĀ Gabriel AgatiĀ in the NAIC finals.
Sign-up instructions
Sign-ups for the event are done throughĀ RK9 Labs platform, and you will first need to set up your RK9 profileĀ and have aĀ Play! PokĆ©mon Player ID. All players must comply with theĀ Play! PokĆ©mon COVID-19 Protocols.
Sign-ups cost is ā¬60 for Masters players and ā¬40 for Seniors and Juniors players, and they open on 13 September at 19:00 CEST (17:00 UTC). There are 640 spotsĀ for Masters players and 120 spots for Seniors and Juniors players.
