TPCi’s Play! Pokémon VGC Tournament Handbook has been updated!
This document, which replaces the old VG Rules, Formats and Penalties, sets the guidelines for VGC tournaments in the 2026 season. The most major change is the inclusion of Nintendo Switch 2!
Further details about 2026 Grand & Global Challenges have been announced!
There will be 5 Grand Challenges this season (in September, October, November, January and May), with Global Challenges to be announced soon. The combined BFL is now 4, and the Championship Point payouts are reduced due to the separation of rating zones.
