Australian rising star Matthew Henry has won his first VR tournament! Matthew defeated Spanish player Juan Manuel Odriozola in the finals of the VR October Challenge, using a Kilowattrel team!
The stream features sets from Puerto Rico–Costa Rica, Luxembourg–Panama, Poland–China, United Kingdom–Indonesia and a banger in Spain–Thailand (Guillermo Castilla vs Narawitch Naenna).
This in-game ladder competition lasts until 12 October and features double battles, with teams of 2 Pokémon: either Koraidon or Miraidon, and a non-Restricted, non-Mythical Pokémon.
Chilean player Ustm Ns, who opted out from competing in the official circuit, has won their first Grand Challenge! They used a team featuring Gallade to finish at a rating of 1825, ahead of 2026 Frankfurt Regional Champion Emanuele Briganti.
