Overview
The Prague Regional Championships is an official TPCi Regional-level event for Pokémon VGC, TCG and Pokémon GO. It is the seventh Regional-level event and the sixth Regional Championships proper of the 2026 season in the European circuit.
The ruleset is yet to be announced, and it is played using open team lists.
A little bit of history
Czechia has been part of the Europe region of the official TPCi circuit for many years. It has hosted only one major event, a Special Event back in 2018. Czechia’s greatest VGC success is David Koutesh‘s Worlds top 16 in 2022!
The most recent (and so far only major) tournament held in Czechia is the 2018 Prague SC, played in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon with the VGC18 ruleset in March 2018. The finals saw 2017 Vienna SC Champion David Koutesh defeat 2017 Birmingham Regional finalist Lukas Müller to win his second major title! David went on to top cut the World Championships 4 years later.
